PAST EVENTS AND NEWS ******************************** Art in the Bar, Trinity Arts Centre, Gainsborough, Lincolnshire Fiona has been invited to show her small-scale work as part of the Art in the Bar exhibition series at the Trinity Arts Centre. This will appear from October 28th to November 29th 2009.
The Doncaster Open Art Exhibition at the Doncaster Museum and Art Gallery, Chequer Road, Doncaser, DN1 2AE. Fiona has had 3 pieces of work selected for this exhibition, which runs until 6th December.
Insight Open Studios, North Lincolnshire 2009 Fiona took part in this event for the 2nd year. The Open Studios take place on 19-20th September and 26-27th September. Studios will be open between 10.30am and 5pm.
Also in Epworth will be other artists at the ArtsLinc Art Showcase and at No 46 Gallery of Art, 46 High Street, Epworth.
Lincoln Artists Market Steep Hill in Lincoln. Fiona was there in May, June and October 2009.

*********************************** Isle Arts Showcase (20-21 and 27-28 September 2008) The showcase which Fiona organised as part of Insight Open Studios went very well. There were just short of 400 visitors over the two weekends, coming from as far afield as Newcastle and London, as well as closer to home. Those attending were very impressed by the quality and range of art and craft available. They were also delighted that they could not only see artists at work, but also had the chance to try out some crafts for themselves ArtsLinc Artists Network (18/07/08) Fiona has just set up a professional artists network. ArtAid Auction News (30/06/08) Fiona has just been informed that her artwork, Gaia Fights For Equilibrium, has sold at the ArtAid Auction. Insight Open Studios - Isle of Axholme Art and Craft Showcase (20-21 September and 27-28 September 2008) At the Imperial Hall, Chapel Street, Epworth, North Lincolnshire 10.30am to 5.00pm each day. Click here for map Insight Open Studios has been run in North and North East Lincolnshire for the past 7 years. The event encourages the public to meet artists and craftspeople, learn about how they create their work and buy or commission work. This year, Fiona Hodges is organising the Isle of Axholme Art and Craft Showcase as part of the Insight event. The aim is to bring artists from the Isle of Axholme to a central point, providing them with space to show and demonstrate their work to the public. The event will highlight the wealth of artistic talent and activity in the area, provide an opportunity for artists and craftspeople to show and sell their work and to celebrate their achievements.

Fiona
Hodges is proud to be taking part in the Art Aid : Embrace Art
Exhibition and Auction 18th - 21st June 2008. This is a charitable
event in which artists donate their work for auction to raise funds for
Christian Aid. Specifically, raising funds to aid poor communities in
Latin America, Africa and Asia to cope with the impact of climate change.
Fiona's donated artwork is Gaia Fights For Equilibrium and is
listed as LOT 28. Link 
Fiona
was proud to exhibit her work, A Life Less Seen, at the Tithe Barn in
Lincoln as part of the Facade Exhibition.
Fiona
Hodges was delighted to receive Joint Third Prize in the 2021 Open
Competition for her portrait in oils, entitled Youthful Exuberance.
The annual competition, open to entrants from throughout the whole of
Lincolnshire, North and North East Lincolnshire, was extremely popular and
competition was very fierce.
